WHAT’S IN FOR Cake Smash SESSION?

Get ready for a delightful chaos and a bunch of super adorable pictures! I absolutely love celebrating birthdays, especially the monumental first birthday. These sessions are all about capturing some precious moments before the cake-smashing extravaganza!
Throw in a customized setup just for your little one, and voila—a gallery of heart-melting images for you to cherish.

DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Before the session, we’ll have talked about a theme for your child’s special day. There might be some elements related to the theme that you’ll need to bring, but don’t worry—we’ll discuss this on an individual basis.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

For birthday celebrations, social media shares, or invitations, aim to book 1-4 weeks before the big day. If you want the images to reflect your child’s personality as closely as possible, book around the most convenient date just before or after their birthday. Set a reminder in your calendar when they’re around 8-9 months old to secure your spot!

WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN?

These fun-filled sessions take place during the week, working around your schedule, childcare, and any existing birthday plans. I’m available to capture the magic from Monday to Friday and during school holidays.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Sessions last between 1 and 2 hours, starting with an adorable outfit for their portrait session, followed by either an outfit of your choice or one of my themed outfits. We kick off with a mini-portrait session, dive into the cake smash.

CAN I CHOOSE THE THEME?

I’m all about sweet and simple setups with light tones. Because, let’s face it, the spotlight should be on the adorable baby!

CAKE FOR SMASHING?

Yep, I include a custom-made cake from “Slastice Damiani” in every session. It’s perfect for smashing, and whatever your little one doesn’t devour, you get to take home—a win-win situation!

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS ALLERGIES?

Safety first! If your child has any allergies related to cake, let me know beforehand so we can tailor the session accordingly.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SETUP?

I’ll bring air-filled balloons and themed pieces to create an enchanting setup, but let’s chat about your unique setup when we plan. Feel free to think about what decorations you have at home to add a personal touch to the set!

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?

For the mini portrait session, a smart/casual outfit that matches the theme works wonders. Bare feet look great, and choosing something that complements the set is perfect. For the smash, a cute vest is usually the go-to. I also have some simple options available in KA newborn studio for you to use!

TWINS AND SIBLINGS?

Twins, triplets, or more are welcome! Let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly. While we can squeeze in a few family photos at the beginning, the focus will mainly be on the birthday star. It’s a celebration after all!

CAN I SNAP SOME PHOTOS?

Absolutely! Feel free to capture behind-the-scenes moments during your session. However, let’s avoid close-ups of the baby during the setup—those are the images you’re investing in, and phone photos won’t do them justice.
